White with a soft orange check and blue / teal arty dots all over. Elasticated around the shoulders, neckline and waistband with a ruffle on the bottom of the skirt. Lightweight and slightly sheer, this would work perfectly with a slip underneath. Although this is synthetic (something we don't usually go for), the quality of it is far superior to anything you'd find on the high street today. The classic 70s piece with that quilted yoke, flowy fit and 3/4 length wide sleeves. The cuffs were elasticated but this has degraded with time, however could be repaired if you wished. Slightly sheer as it's made from such a beautiful lightweight cotton. Printed all over with blocks of warm blue and purple flowers against a white background. This is one of those dresses that we so rarely come across and never want to part with - we know it'll make somebody very happy. Beautiful soft colours of the sunrise, with peachy pinks, mustard yellow and burnt orange. The scene depicts a view over some adorable little houses set in the countryside, with hills and the sky as you move further up. What we really love is the texture on this; thick bobbles depicting the ground and the addition of ropes and string to denote the suns rays covering everything. This gorgeous piece was made back in 1981 by Afro Weavers, sadly although printed on the tag, there's no information about the person who made it. Pieces like this are highly valuable and worth every penny - smaller pieces are currently selling for more money on second hand sites!
