This is made in Morocco, woven geometric patterns in soft beige, white and black. It has a hood, front pockets and toggles to fasten it. Layer it up for these colder months. Deep front pockets and an open front. Thick waist belt of coordinating fabric to fasten. It's made from a thick base cotton with applique batik patches in squares and elephants. There's a kantha stitch running through this too which is especially visible on the lining and turn-up of the sleeves. Wear this around the house for extravagant loungewear, over a simple outfit for an evening out or over something jazzy for a festival. Or all three. Make the most of it, it's a beautiful piece. This lovely garmemt has been simple reworked with an intricate piece of vintage Indian embroidered and mirrored fabric and enhanced with a little bit of hand stitching, done using thrifted cotton threads. The soft earthy colours of the fabric really compliment the jacket, adding detail without being overwhelming. The jacket itself is almost a blazer in style with a collar and big buttons to fasten.
