Unique to Adorned this is a stunning piece of true vintage jewellery.

A Tuareg cross made of 925 sterling silver this is one of a few crosses crafted by men of the Tuareg ethnic group in the Central Sahara Desert.

There are around 40 families that make this jewellery. It is only worn by the women as its considered bad luck for men to wear it. Made out of silver and mixed metals it is believed that the Tuareg jewellery has powers within it which it obtains from the fire within which it is forged.

As expected with some vintage pieces there may be signs of wear however this piece is in excellent condition and has been well wrapped and stored. Would benefit from a gentle warm soapy wash or gentle polish with a silver cloth.
