We have been so so busy this summer. Although plenty of reworked has been getting done, making regular blog posts to collect and showcase it all has been slack. Oops! On the bright side, that means we have a massive blog post with plenty to show off. On the down side, you’ll probably want it all. But on the other plus side, a lot of it has already sold…
We made a den for our most recent shoot (that you’ll see soon!) Of course, this isn’t for sale, but we do have some beautiful Fairtrade throws left for sale on our shop.
I’ve been trying out some new techniques for A/W. This beautiful silk painting will then be embellished further with embroidery. To be honest it’s so labour intensive that I don’t think I’ll ever do much of it as I simply don’t have the time, but I adore it!
To be honest this one is just my own personal project… but I’m on that embroidery hype and loving it!
Do you like sunflowers? I hope so, cos it’s almost all I’ve painted lately…
Oh and I painted a coupla cacti and some other flowers too
Mama Adorned has really pulled the stops out to make these gorgeous gemstone pendants. Whilst she’s done those, I’ve been keeping it simple with elephant pendants all made using recycled Indian glass beads.
Both myself and friend Megan have been getting creative on our sewing machines. She’s completely hand-made some bardot dresses and tops which we’ll be uploading soon! Whilst she’s been on that, I’ve been upcycling some denim with gorgeous elephants, all recycled and eco-friendly. I made four jackets and only one actually stayed in the UK. The others are off to Egypt, Germany and the USA.
I borrowed this amazing little hippy in Manchester to shoot them, she’s my new muse. At 16 she travels the world by herself AND owns a motorcycle. Can you believe it?!
Our wonderful friend Megan has been busy screen printing some thrifted and vintage tees. The Ganesh / nelly motif is designed by herself and it’s beautifully intricate, with a cool distressed finish. You can find them on our ASOS Marketplace and the sample pieces on Depop P.S. excuse the bad quality – screenshots off an iMessage convo.
So that’s it, the past few months and hours upon hours of labour condensed down into a gallery of photos. But, beyond that, these will be items that our customers will treasure for years to come.
